Mixed media on wood panel. Original photography found at vintage stores, estate sales, and ebay. Images are enlarged, artistic expression continues with freehand marks, machine sewing and color using acrylic and oil stick. The photos and typography anchor the work, yet experiments and risk taking occurs throughout the process, making the narrative open, accessible, and interpretive.
